The La Joya Lady Coyotes Wrestling Team brought the grit, heart, and Coyote Pride to the Tomas Garces Outdoor Wrestling Tournament in Weslaco! 💪🔥
❄️ Due to weather-related safety concerns, the tournament was called early — but make no mistake: when competition stopped, the Lady Coyotes were in FIRST PLACE and earned the Team Championship Trophy! 🏆

🔥 Advanced to the SEMIFINALS for the 2nd year in a row
🔥 Battled through technical challenges and still landed in the ELITE 8 IN THE STATE!
🤖 Neo, the Matrix Coyotes’ robot, earned Most Robust Robot in the UIL Large Division — engineering excellence on full display!
From their engineering notebook to their marketing presentation and exhibit booth, the Coyotes were a crowd favorite and earned praise across the board. They may have missed the top 3, but they won respect, recognition, and pride everywhere they went.
