Hello Cesar Chavez MS families,

My name is Brenda L. Zamora LBSW, I am the Social Worker at CCMS.

I believe that the connection between home and school are crucial for a student’s success. I want encourage you to be a part of your child's education and stay connected with our campus. I will give opportunities for a partnership with our families by: hosting parent meetings, providing two way communication, letters, text messages, and conferences. My door is always open to give a helping hand to students, parents, and staff.

As the campus social worker, I am committed to providing services to my students to enhance their emotional well-being and improve their academic performance. I help identify barriers that affect student learning. While also making referrals to outside agencies as needed for students and families. I am available to assist student families experiencing a life crisis by ensuring they receive the resources/help they need. I also provide mental health services on campus, make home visits as needed, and provide students with proper clothing year round.
